Matthew Forsythe

Irish actor, Matt Forsythe, is best known for his stellar performance in the award-winning anniversary production of Marie Jones’ A NIGHT IN NOVEMBER. It ran at the Lyric Theatre, Belfast before touring Ireland and the UK, winning an LPT award and securing two Offies nominations.

Matthew recently played ‘Bob Cratchit’ in Marie’s Jones’ reimagining of Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ which ran at The Lyric Theatre in Belfast to brilliant reviews. 

Matt will return to BLUE LIGHTS for its third series in the recurring role of Aodhan McAllister. He has just completed filming the second series of MALPRACTICE for ITV which will air later in 2025. Further TV credits include HOPE STREET (BBC), THE FALL (BBC) and LINE OF DUTY (BBC).

He recently starred opposite Marie Jones and Ivan Little in Gary Mitchell’s PRIDE OF THE SHORE which ran at The Mac in Belfast last year.  

Matt trained at the Drama Studio London and is a trained classical singer.
