Maria Branagan
Maria has just returned from Western Australia where she was filming the next series of hit Australian TV show, ‘SCRUBLANDS’ for STAN. She plays the large supporting role of Toria. This is currently available to watch on STAN, it will be released in the US in May, and will come to BBC and RTE later this year.
She can also be seen opposite Jane Seymour in the latest series of HARRY WILD. Watch clips of her in the series here.
She played the supporting role of Martha in Jack Armstrong’s feature, MADE IN DUBLIN, which received three awards at the Cannes World Film Festival, including Best Independent Feature.

Maria trained at Ireland’s national screen school, Bow Street, and graduated prior to that with a BA Honours Degree in Theatre and Drama from the Cork School of Music. She has had the privilege of participating in workshops hosted by Theatre Lovett and masterclasses hosted by Owen Roe at both The Gate and the Abbey Theatre.
